Originally from the sunny Mississippi Gulf Coast, Christina has lived in France since 2004. It all started with a whirlwind year in Orleans before finishing her Bachelor's degree in History and French at the University of Southern Mississippi. Craving to get back to the cafés, she hopped the pond to finish a Master's degree in English Studies/American Civilization at the Université Stendhal-Grenoble 3 in Grenoble, France. The city hasn't gotten rid of her yet!
The relationship between the two countries fuels her curiosity and she writes about France to show others what the Hexagon has to offer. On the flip side, she is busting down dirty stereotypes about Americans by teaching English to French professionals and students in the Grenoble area. This job has opened opportunities to meet the city's rugby team, the bus drivers to whom Grenoble entrusts its ski season tourists, nuclear scientists, and company presidents.
Online, she works as the regional France editor for www.NeigeSki.com and www.OnTheSnow.co.uk, the world's most visited winter sports websites. More locally, she sometimes contributes to www.GrenobleLife.com, the site for Grenoble's English-speaking population.
